Docly is designed around a simple principle: your documents are yours. We do not see them, collect them, or store them.

This Privacy Policy describes how RuntimeHub ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Docly ("the Service"). Because all document processing in Docly runs entirely within your browser, the scope of data we could collect is fundamentally limited compared to conventional web services.
Docly processes all documents locally inside your browser using the Web File API and Web Workers. Your files are never transmitted to any server, never stored on any cloud infrastructure, and never accessible to us at any point during or after a conversion or editing session.
We have no technical capability to access, read, log, or recover files you process using Docly. This is an architectural property of the tool, not a policy choice.
Docly is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you load the page, Cloudflare's infrastructure may record standard server log data including your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested, timestamps, and response codes. This log data is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their privacy policy and is not used by us for individual user tracking.
Docly loads IBM Plex fonts from Google Fonts. Google may collect data about this request including your IP address and browser information, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. No document content is involved in this request.
Docly displays third-party advertising to support its free availability. Advertising partners may set cookies and use similar tracking technologies to serve relevant advertisements. These technologies operate at the page level and have no access to any document content processed by the tool.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser's cookie settings or through industry opt-out tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
Docly itself does not set first-party cookies. Cookies present on the page originate from advertising partners and are subject to their respective privacy policies. The Service Worker cache used for offline functionality stores page assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) in browser storage — it does not store any document content.
Docly does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB to store your data. Converted or edited files exist only in browser memory during an active session and are cleared when you close the tab or navigate away.
Docly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us so we can address it.
Because we do not collect document data, there is no document data to transfer internationally. Standard infrastructure data (server logs) may be processed by Cloudflare in data centres across multiple jurisdictions in accordance with their data processing agreements.
Under applicable data protection laws you may have rights including access to personal data held about you, correction of inaccurate data, erasure of data, and the right to object to certain processing. Because we collect only minimal infrastructure-level data and do not collect document content, the practical scope of these rights with respect to Docly is narrow. For rights requests, contact us via the channels listed below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
